Welcome to Evanston Youth Lacrosse (EYLA) 2020 Spring Season!

Our program teaches women’s lacrosse fundamentals in a fun and safe environment and is designed for both beginner and experienced players. EYLA is part of Illinois Lacrosse League (ILL) a league comprised of other like-minded community-based teams and we are looking forward to fun and friendly competition both at our home field at ETHS and away. All girls grades 3rd-8th will participate in ILL this spring, and our 1st and 2nd graders will participate in a house league.

EYLA is divided into 4 separate age groups and girls must register for their grade level; no exceptions will be made. Practice times are set, but field locations are subject to change at the discretion of the Director prior to the beginning of the season.

Grade Levels
1st/2nd grade
3rd/4th grade

SAVE THE DATE! PLAYER TRYOUTS FOR 5TH-8TH GRADERS!

EVERY player 5th-8th grade is REQUIRED to attend a try-out on Friday, March 6 from 6-9 pm at the Quad. This tryout is to properly place girls on teams (dependent on our numbers).
EVERY girl who registers and participates in tryouts gets a spot on a team!

SCHEDULE at THE QUAD (located at 2454 Oakton St.)

5/6th grade is from 6-7:30 pm

7/8th grade is from 7:30-9 pm

Have your player arrive 15 minutes before her evaluation time, and more information to follow.

Please register your player for the spring season (5th-8th grader) prior to the evaluation day!

Please note: we need at LEAST one parent from each team to commit as a volunteer coach and team “manager” for the season. Any lax experience would be preferred, but anyone is welcome! You will not be responsible for creating the coaching plan; just act as an assistant. This ensures each team has proper communication with other parents and helps assist our amazing coaches to do their job.

Looking forward to a great season!
